Aftercare Assistant

Byron Center Christian School is seeking applicants to assist in the Aftercare Program at our Early Childhood Campus during late afternoons on weekdays during the school year, with additional hours available on snow days and scheduled days off when we offer extra care.  We are looking for a person passionate about students and about helping them grow in both their learning and faith.

Responsibilities will include:

-Assisting the Lead Teacher with activities.

-Helping keep learning areas safe and tidy.

-Providing a welcoming, inclusive learning atmosphere for all students.

-Supporting children with unique or individual needs.

Experience working with young children is preferred. Candidates need to be 16 years old.  The ideal candidate will have a love for Christ, the ability to relate to adults and students, and a commitment to Reformed Christian education. Long-Term Guest Preschool Teacher

Byron Center Christian School is seeking candidates for a maternity leave beginning in the fall. We are looking for an individual with a growth mindset who is passionate about students and about helping them grow in both their faith and learning. The candidate must have a desire to design learning so students can see God’s story and live God’s story, forever shaping individuals and the entire school community. The candidate must be a professing and maturing Christian who enthusiastically supports BCCS’s purpose and mission. Paraprofessional 

Byron Center Christian School is seeking a caring, collaborative, and student-focused Educational Support Services (ESS) Paraprofessional to join our team. This role provides support for students across the school, with a primary focus on assisting students who benefit from early intervention, individualized support, and identified learning accommodations.

A heart for students, patience, and flexibility are important. The ESS Paraprofessional works alongside classroom teachers and ESS specialists to help students grow academically, socially, and spiritually by providing targeted support and helping create an inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
