5/6th Grade Teacher
Byron Center Christian School is seeking a teacher to join our 5th/6th-grade team of educators. We are looking for an individual with a growth mindset who is passionate about helping students grow in both their faith and their learning. The candidate must have a desire to design learning so students can see God’s story and live God’s story, shaping individuals and the entire school community. The candidate must be a professing and maturing Christian who enthusiastically supports BCCS’s purpose and mission. Teachers at BCCS work within a team as part of a Professional Learning Community (PLC). The candidate will also use the Teaching for Transformation (TfT) framework to connect faith and learning. TfT and PLC training and support will be provided. While the above qualifications are important, we encourage anyone who feels called by God to impact students through learning to apply. Care Program Lead
BCCS is seeking applicants to co-lead our East Campus After-School Program. This individual must be passionate about caring for children ages five to eleven and helping them grow in both their learning and faith after the school day concludes. Responsibilities include providing a welcoming learning atmosphere for all students, maintaining records of student attendance and needs, and scheduling and partnering with After-School assistants to keep learning areas safe and clean.
Classroom Assistant
Byron Center Christian School (BCCS) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our early childhood team as a Classroom Assistant at our West Campus, serving students ages three to six. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Christian early childhood education, a nurturing demeanor, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. As an Early Childhood Classroom Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the lead teacher, facilitating classroom activities, and ensuring the well-being and safety of the children.
