Middle school Spanish Teacher
Byron Center Christian School is seeking a middle school Spanish teacher to join our team of educators. The ideal candidate would have a passion for helping students develop language skills and an appreciation for other cultures. This is a part-time position that includes teaching 5th through 8th grade students. We are seeking an individual with a growth mindset who is passionate about students and about helping them grow in both their faith and their learning. The candidate must have a desire to design learning so students can see God’s story and live God’s story, shaping individuals and the entire school community. The candidate must be a professing and maturing Christian who enthusiastically supports BCCS’s purpose and mission. Teachers at BCCS work within a team as part of a Professional Learning Community (PLC). The candidate will also use the Teaching for Transformation (TfT) framework to connect faith and learning. TfT and PLC training and support will be provided. While the above qualifications are important, we encourage anyone who feels called by God to impact students through learning to apply. A valid teaching certificate is required.

We are looking for an individual with a growth mindset who is passionate about students and about helping them grow in both their faith and their learning. The candidate must be a professing and maturing Christian who enthusiastically supports BCCS’s purpose and mission. TfT and PLC training and support will be provided. A current teaching certificate with physical education endorsement is also required.
Technology Teacher
Byron Center Christian School is seeking candidates for a part-time technology teacher to begin in August 2024. We are looking for an individual with a growth mindset who is passionate about students and about helping them grow in both their faith and their learning. This teaching position will provide authentic, hands-on learning opportunities and real work for students in the areas of science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Choir Director
Byron Center Christian, Dutton Christian and Legacy Christian schools are seeking a middle school choir director for the 2024-25 school year. We are looking for an individual with a growth mindset who is passionate about students and about helping them grow in both their faith and love of music. The candidate must have a desire to design learning so students can see God’s story and live God’s story, forever shaping individuals and the entire school community. This position is currently part-time, but may be full-time with additional responsibilities.
