Transformational Learning

See the Story. Live the Story.

For more than 100 years, BCCS has remained faithfully committed to offering an excellent, Christ-centered education rooted in God’s Word.Teaching for Transformation (TfT) helps our staff intentionally connect all learning to God’s larger story. TfT provides a framework for designing authentic, meaningful learning experiences that shape students’ hearts and minds. Through these experiences, students are invited, nurtured, and empowered to live out their part in God’s story in their everyday learning.

Individual and community Focus

We are united in God’s story, but each of us has different roles. Each student, teacher, and parent is uniquely gifted to serve in God's Kingdom and we all have a role to play in His big story. Our goal is to help each student discover these gifts in order to fulfill their purpose in the story.

It is nothing but a pious wish and
a grossly unwarranted hope that
students trained to be passive
and non-creative in school will
suddenly, upon graduation,
actively contribute to the
formation of Christian culture.
— Nicholas Wolterstorff

At BCCS, students will develop a personal relationship with Christ and learn to be active in His kingdom using the gifts He has given to them. Our hope is to develop passionate, creative students who use what they are learning to be agents of restoration.
